I was nervous about buying and using this. We have flat texture on our walls and I knew it was a gamble. Our paint was a few months old so it wasn’t too fresh, and I wiped it down to ensure it was clean. The pieces were not too difficult to put up. I had my ten year old hold the bottom half while I placed the top and worked my way down. I could have done it myself but it was easier with help. Initially I used a scraping tool to adhere it to the wall, but with the texture I found using my hands more effective in really adhering it well. This made it take longer but I’ve had it up a few weeks and it’s still on tight. I didn’t use the leaves but they adhere fine, it just didn’t fit the look I had in mind. I tested one though and it worked great. Removing the leaf I tested wasn’t overly difficult. I did have to reposition a branch and though it looks fine it doesn’t look as good as the rest, so try not to reposition it. I liked it so much I ordered more. I think good vinyl wall stickers are hard to find so I’m super happy with this company. It’s not really matte but it doesn’t have that cheap shiny plastic look either.
